After graduating from Cooper Union School of Art in 1986, Lesli Uribe caught the real estate wave in Manhattan. Specializing in high-end luxury properties and servicing the "Art Stars" of the 80's, Lesli was top producer for 3 consecutive years in N.Y.C. If you ask Lesli how an artist sells Real Estate she paints a very clear picture...
"I don't believe I sell real estate. I believe I listen to people like a therapist might listen and I simply match their wishes with reality. Being a good listener and being an artist, able to visualize a person's needs is far more effective than being a salesperson. Houses sell themselves once the right buyer walks through the door."
Lesli has been with the Houlihan Lawrence family for 20 years and is consistently one of the Top Producers in the Cold Spring office. Orchestrating over 100 transactions, Lesli will still testify that although she has not seen it all, she has become an expert in problem solving.
"Because buying and selling is as critical to one's life as marriage or divorce, with so many emotions flying high, it never ceases to amaze me what surfaces. Helping people to stay focused on the ultimate goal is my forte. Supporting them throughout the rollercoaster ride has become my passion."
As a mom with three children, ages 25, 20 and 16, Lesli has continued working as a professional artist throughout her real estate career. How does she manage these three full time positions?
"The Present is my Present. I know that being focused on the task at hand is my way of giving 100%"
